“Platinum” courses:
An exclusive programme run by Swiss Interglobe, tailor-made for its most prestigious clients! Accommodation and lessons are based in an exceptional setting that combines luxury and authenticity: Gleneagle Hotel – Scotland, GB, Soho Farm House – Oxfordshire, GB, Heckfield Place – Reading, GB, Ashford House – Ireland.
The lessons are designed and run by English teachers with the highest reputation and are delivered one-to-one or in small groups. Cultural, sporting and culinary activities play a key part in the language course. Whether it’s a dinner hosted by a starred chef, regional trip, falconry lesson, horse ride or round of golf, everything is focused on practising your English.

Individual lessons at the teacher’s home:
Total immersion from breakfast till dinner!
These lessons are held at a qualified and experienced teacher’s own home.
The teacher will deliver a general or professional language course depending on your needs and expectations. Learning also goes on outside of the lesson since the learner takes part in the daily life of their host.
This personalised learning format is remarkably effective because it is tailored not only to your requirements but to your own pace of learning.
It’s an incredible way to gain perfect mastery of a language.
The lesson frequency and intensity varies from 15 to 30 hours per week.

- Minimum level required: beginner (CEFRL A1-A2)
- Advantages: intensive and personalised learning, total immersion
Important:
- If time is an issue, 3-4-day flash courses are available. This is the perfect format for an express refresh.
- A “Two-to-One” format is also available.
- This is ideal for two people travelling together with the same language level.
Courses for executives:
Our courses are intended for business people and professionals who have limited time to learn a language: 15 to 35 hour weekly lessons of general and business English in small groups of 5 maximum.
Once your course has started, you’ll be able to regularly discuss your progress with the training manager and modify the content with the teacher if need be.
- Target audience: suitable for anyone, age: from 25 years
- Minimum level required: intermediate (CEFRL B1)
- Advantages: intensive and personalised learning targeted at executives.
Important:
- You may also choose to complement your learning with several individual lessons per week, either to progress faster or fill in any knowledge gaps.
A “residential Platinum” course option is also available, where you can develop your English skills through an intensive programme, not only during the lesson hours but at meal times, coffee breaks and during cultural and social activities.
Specialised language courses:
This highly specified programme is mainly targeted at professionals in a particular industry.
We offer specific language training in sectors that include business, finance, marketing, law, banking, human resources, engineering, aviation, oil and gas, medicine and journalism.
- Target audience: industry professionals
- Minimum level required: intermediate (CEFRL B1-B2)
- Advantages: intensive professional training
Official exam preparation courses:
These are often a requirement of organisations and businesses.
These official language certificates are the best way to demonstrate language skills on your CV.
Each exam or test has its own procedure.
We will advise you on which of the following is the most appropriate exam or certificate depending on your situation:
- Cambridge exams: beginner - Cambridge PET, intermediate - Cambridge FCE, advanced - Cambridge CAE, Cambridge CPE (recognised by universities and employees)
- IELTS essential for entry into an English-speaking university
- TOEFL recognised in the US
- TOEIC tests your ability to communicate in English in a professional context.
- Cambridge BEC attests to your knowledge of business English.
- BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) tests your level of English for students and recruitment candidates.

General Language Courses at training centres:
General language or communication courses are designed to improve your conversational language skills in everyday life.
The opposite is a specialised language course, designed to help you acquire specific vocabulary in a particular field or profession.
General language courses comprise 15 to 25 group lessons per week.
They are organised around the four key skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
Target audience: suitable for anyone
- Minimum level required: false beginner (CEFRL A1)
- Advantages: intensive acquisition of basic or advanced language structure.
Language teacher training:
If you are a current or future language teacher, we offer initial training to help you develop or acquire the knowledge, skills and experience you need.
This includes language teaching in all its forms: lesson planning, class management and learner psychology.
By the end of the training you’ll have the key skills of a teacher and will have enough experience to teach in a real class.
This continued training is intended for a specific area, such as CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) classes.
